Vishwakarma Gyan Kunj was born with a dream to support and promote the creative viewpoint and inclusive education where Art plays a significant role. We believe and It has been globally accepted that art and creativity widely help in personality building equally for the people in underprivileged community as well as inprivileged society. Human civilization is all time associated with art and whenever socio-political disturbances cause distress, creativity and art salvaged the situation to carry on life towards normalcy and progress.
Our trust is devoted to Lord Vishwakarma, who is worshiped by the engineering and architectural community but also by all professionals. It is customary for the craftsmen to worship their working tools in his name. Vishwakarma is the deity of creative power and he holds the universe.
About Vishwakarma
Lord Vishwakarma is considered to be the god of architecture, the divine engineer to create everything around us represented as being the source of prosperity. He is regarded as the supreme worker, essence of excellence and quality in craftsmanship. Every year on 17th September Vishwakarma Puja is celebrated in India.The Vishwakarma community also celebrate ‘Vishwakarma day’ on the day of Govardhan puja after Diwali. It is an auspicious day for the community to commemorate him as the patron god. It is believed that Vishwakarma does not have any birthday like the mortals, so commemoration day was declared by his five children to declare their solidarity to their father. Hindu scriptures describe Vishwakarma’s architectural accomplishments such as he built many towns and temples for the world. He created Swarga (heaven) in satya yuga, Lanka in the Dwapara yuga and Dwarka in Treta Yuga.
